well, obviously the doctor would know best, but i did want to say that maybe its just part of your menstrual-cycle... some women will spot during the first couple months or so, right around their period... could that be your situation?
*tighthug* If I am actually 12 weeks pregnant, that means I had an almost-period which lasted for 5 days (it was old blood but otherwise just a light period), and then another lot of old bleeding for a couple of days a month later. I've only stopped spotting in that way for a few days.
Check with your doctor or nurse, to put your mind at rest. I've heard that spotting is fairly normal, but I'm a newbie too so ask the experts.
Don't worry, my mom had crazy trouble having my brother and I... (she even had 2 miscarrages, my twin & a baby btwn my brother & I).... and it took her forever 2 get pregnant both times, but it happened eventually. She actually thought it was the stress of grad school that made it difficult for her. My good vibes go your way.
I don't know if you consistently read my journal or not at the begining of my pregnancy, but I've had a few episodes of spotting too. I've actually been on 'light duty' since I was 8 weeks.
It's not 'normal', but it is common. I was terrified and completely convinced I was losing the baby the first time. I haven't had any for a few weeks now, and although I have cramps pretty consistently, the doctor isn't worried about it now.
I know that doesn't really reassure you, at least it didn't me...but I get it.
