ME: this is about humans
ME: or at least, this about how the human brain works
ME: in such a manner
ME: that we are able to "think"
ME: which seems pointless unless we are planning to make cyborgs
ME: which I think is the point
ME: but, what are we going to do with them once we have them?
ME: I mean, we already have to many people
ME: so why do we need machine people?
ME: or half machine half people people?
ME: and if the machine people end up doing all the work for us
Lyra: because ppl want to enslave them?
Me: what are we going to do?
Me: become fat and lazy and do nothing
Lyra: do the machine ppl have rights?
Me: so that we evolve into thinking blobs of fat?
Me: well, if they are people in some fashion
Me: than they have to have rights
Me: because if we encode them with emotions
Me: they could get hurt or pissed off, and in turn hurt or piss off actual people
Me: haha, this is the most pointless conversation in my opinion
Me: unless we are flying around with Pickard, and talking to Data
Me: which we might be
