Feb. 15th, 2006 12:34 pmI am lucky that I am entering a heterosexual marrige in June (we had to move up the date becuase of grad school stuff). My point of mentioning this is that you MUST oppose Proposition 22. I know that I will. Marrige should be allowed between all individuals who wish to be married legally, as well in the eyes of their choice of divinity. I support marrige between any combination of sex or geneder expressions and you all should too! Being married affects if you can make decisons for your loved one in a medical emergancy, affects taxes, health care, a lot of things, and by not allowing "gay" marriges we are dnying thoes individuals the rights that they would have otherwise if they choose to be in a heterosexual marrige. Sorry, just saw somthing about it at NPR and I had to say somthing.
also, I GOT MY WEDDING DRESS! SQEEE! no pictures yet, but I plan to get some, but I will only show it to people invidivually because I don't want Joe to see it untill our wedding day! It's really happening! I knew I was getting married, plans had started, but it didn't hit me untill I was trying on dresses and veils and looking at myself in the mirror. I am in some ways a nervous wreck, but in others SO excited and in love!!!!
